Dunna nunna nunna nunna dunna nunna nunna nunna Bat-MAAAAAAAAAAN!

KERPOWW! THUNKK! SPLAT! OUCH! Going back in pop culture time hurts like hell.

And yet, no matter how many pathetic TV shows fail to stand up to scrutiny from an adult perspective (Scooby Doo being probably the biggest let-down 20 years on), I still have a soft spot for the Adam West Batman TV series.

The gadgets were so awful looking. Yet they worked! The outfits were so lame. Yet Batman (and to a lesser extent, Robin) was cool!

Some of the female villains even look sexy now. (You should be able to award posthumous Oscars for getting Joan Collins to dress in a leather catsuit -- Joan Collins BEFORE the big shoulder pads of Dynasty and all the plastic surgery.) And the Batmobile is without doubt the coolest bar none (I LOATHE the modern versions).

The T-niverse crew don't recommend you wear this Batman Belt T-Shirt on a day-to-day basis: the office is divided about the cool vs lame angle of this T-shirt. It's more costume than Tee really: probably the belt doesn't really do it justice, fake belts being hard to pull off (in both senses).

Pretty cool for Bat-fans without self-consciousness issues, but this is definitely a borderline naff shirt.
