You know how people tend to slur their speech when they’re drunk, and mix up syllables and get letters around the wrong way?
As well as dance around wildly wearing a Groucho Marx disguise
Well, with bowling, you really don't have to worry about it. See, if you slur your words when you're trying to say "bowling", it's going to come out more or less like "lobbing".
Which, conveniently, is precisely the action you'll make if you DO try and bowl when you're drunk. Fantastic! Nobody will even notice the difference!
Alternately, just be honest. This is my drinking team, we try and get as hammered as possible, but we just cannot stop ourselves from bowling every so often.
Because, you know, wildly lobbing a solid fifteen pound chunk of plastic and urethane in an enclosed space where there are plenty of people in close proximity just seems like a really cool idea. At least it does when you're as toasted as my team is... trust me, we're a GREAT drinking team, with a minor bowling problem.
