In TV land, Chest wigs, black T-Top coupes, uptight British bosses and borderline hot brunette sidekicks come and go. But throw in a couple of gimmicks ('Turbo boost' jet jumping mode, a weird swirly red LED front light thingie and a mechanical speaking voice) and you have an instant classic.

If you're too young to remember Knight Rider, the vehicle that launched David Hasselhof to bigger and better things (most of which wrapped in red Lycra bikinis), then it's unlikely that this T-shirt is going to move you.

But for those of us born in the mid-70s or earlier, Knight Rider will have some place in our hearts. It may not always be a good place, but still, this Knight Rider T-shirt with "KITT Happens" slogan will get many a comment when you dare to wear it.

There's absolutely no question about it: this is a cool car T-shirt.

How funny to see! Total irony!

I was originally googling my name Kitt Cotter(maiden name). Here pops up a t-shirt by Ashley Cotter-Cairn and then to see "Kitt Happens". How ironic is that?!?! I was born in 1966 so I totally remember the show! When I got my first car and wanted vanity plates I couldn't get "KITT". I did get "KITT1", but I figured there was some black car in Maryland riding around with license plates with my name on it! Just found it amusing that a "Cotter" created the t-shirt and then my name is Kitt!!!
