Highlander William Wallace? Whoever described this must have been an Englishman! Obviously confusing Braveheart with Duncan MacLeod.

William Wallace indeed existed, a great Scottish patriot rebelling against the English occupation of Scotland. After some initial successes, burning every Wimpy burger stand in Stirling, he was captured and taken to Westminster Hall in London and charged with treason to King Edward I.

"I cannot be a traitor to Edward," he said, "for I owe him no allegiance. He is not my God; he never received my homage and whilst life is in this persecuted body, he never shall receive it."

Brave words, but wrong crowd. He was sentenced to be hanged, drawn and quartered. You KNOW that had to hurt.

A great T-shirt to wear in Scotland; someone will buy you a beer there for sure.
