My Grandma Louise used to have this dog named Badger who was a big, old Bassett hound and this dog was somewhat special.
He couldn't stand Christmas, or anything involving Christmas, including music, and my Grandma was a virtual Mrs. Claus. So after every Thanksgiving, my Grandma would pull out her Christmas decorations and CDs and crank up the stereo with Christmas music, basically 24/7.
Well, poor old Badger learned to just cope with this music by learning to 'sing'. Badger could woof out Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Silent Night and the list goes on and on. I think the dog knew more Christmas carols than I did!
He would throw back his head, his huge ears flopping, and yodel with Grandma. It was pure torture for us kids, but Grandma and Badger loved it.
I guess Badger, or perhaps some other dog like him, must have been the inspiration for this comfy shirt. This gift would be sure to make a dog lover smile, considering there is an adorable floppy-eared dog on the front.
